Good Morning and it must be Wednesday as there are photos of my desk...and this week there is some action! so a very happy WOYWW to all...It's a quick post this morning before work as early start today. The good news is there has been some action...the bad not as much as planned as I had to go to work on my days off; well two of them anyway...I'm now over that just! I had one of my worse days /nights ever on Monday, but that's how it is sometimes...and it is becoming a now distant memory.
As you can see it's not a christmas card!...shocked well I was getting a bit bored and had seen all these wonderful autumn creations on blog land had to give it a go myself since I love autumnal colours. I'm a bit restricted on what I have as you can see from the one leaf stamp I used! the card is all but done and I hope to finish it off some time this week. I'm working again this weekend but off next weekend and plan to go to the NEC...should be fun...not sure hubby will agree!.

desk at an arty angle !

as always...the long view
Go visit our great leader and wonderful host Julia at the Stamping Ground; share your desk with us I would  love to have a  look...will be playing catch up again this week; but promise I will visit.... crafty hugs and I hope you have a great week ahead  Andrea x

Quick post -busy day !

I thought I would do a quick post this morning. I've been up early and have been a very busy beaver doing the housework only hoovering, ironing and bed changing left!...then hopefully some time to spend in the craft room once I've finished...I'm having major withdrawals. I had until yesterday had this weekend and Monday off work but unfortunately staff sickness has put and end to that and I need to go back to work tomorrow... hopefully I will get Thursday off next week unless something else happens...and a weekend off in a few weeks time...that will be bliss, anyway that's enough of my grumbling! I have several Christmas cards still to share from previous weeks, today I've chosen a traditional design using the Heartfelt Creation Stamps; which I am certainly making good use of...Isn't he a fat little robin! When I go the stamps I went a bit stamping and colouring mad, this has meant that I had several images all ready to go and as I've kept the designs and layouts quite simple I have more finished cards...which means I'm well ahead with my christmas cards despite no crafty time over the last few weeks

Christmas Robin

I used the following products-

red green card stock layering

red gems and gem brad on bow
green/gold  organza ribbon

Well got to go now to make the most of the rest of today.I hope you have a good weekend and wrap up warm tomorrow as the weather man says it will be very wet and windy ! ...thanks for visiting and big crafty hugs Andrea X.

Happy WOYWW which means that time has come again to share with you my lonely neglected desk!Julia the wonderful WOYWW host over at the stamping ground won't be impressed with my lack of activity! Work commitments and resulting long shifts unfortunately has put paid to any card making since my day off last Thursday... I did finish the card from last Weeks desk on my day off. and almost finished the one on today's just needs putting together.
Since then the closest I’ve got to any craft room activity was tidying away (mmm...huge pile under my desk!)a pile of magazines last night that I had been looking through,I like to re-read them at night when watching TV; which is the only time me and hubby really spend any time together.
neglected desk!

Tidy work area waiting for action

On a more positive note its not all doom and gloom hubby has stepped up to the mark again and that's two weeks in a row that he has done all the food shopping and housework himself ( daughter helped with housework although he has played that down !) as well as cook some evening meals the last two weekends…and to give him credit he has done a sterling job…should let him do it all more often (not that he would agree!)Hopefully this weekend I will get my crafty fix that I’m so desperately missing. ..All work and no play makes for a miserable me. I hope your having much more crafty creative fun and when I get the opportunity I will come take a look...promise! Thanks for visiting ...hugs Andrea X.

A very good morning to everyone and I can't believe its that day of the week again that comes around ever so quickly...when we get to visit all manner of crafty and artistic individuals worldwide and their wonderful workspaces. Being a nosey inquisitive sort...I love it!...why don't you hop over to the wonderful host Julia at the Stamping Ground and take part yourself...its addictive as once you start you'll be hooked!Firstly apologies to everyone for last week as I didn't get to visit many people;work once again got in the way; I'm hoping to do much better this week as I've a day off work tomorrow as working this weekend again so hopefully I will get to you just not likely it won't be today.

production line in operation

As you can see from my desk taken last night my Christmas production line is still in full swing and I'm averaging 1-2 cards a week so well on track...there are several that are quite similar (due to the new Heartfelt Creations stamp set mega-buy is getting put to very good use!)so I'm making sure I still make some in my usual style; as is the one under's a cute Wild Rose Studio stamp which was a magazine is half my stash of stamps and papers it would appear...I think I buy every one each month! As you can see by last photo bottom left my Christmas scrap pile is ever growing  and I do need to sort it soon !..also you may spot my sad reluctance to even  through away used tape.... ive just spotted some low tack on top of the grand calibur !..oops should have binned that really !

I better go now Julia likes it kept short and sweet...sorry maybe next time julia! Off to work shortly; hope you have a fab day ahead and will come visit soon...hugs Andrea x

Snowy Hugs

I did start this last night but didn't get it finished! a very good morning its now 5:30 am and I've been awake since 3:40 am awake which isn't unusual for me the past few months as I'm turning into a bit of a night owl !.It seem like an age since I posted a card. Its actually only been just over two weeks but seems longer!...I've been busy with work and not much else really...I've also been working all or part of most weekends recently which makes life a bit more difficult and its usually the time when I do my blog post; hence the reason for my lack of blog activity. Hasn't the weather changed too..summer has well and truly gone! feels like winter is here already...dark nights and early mornings have crept up on us;but it does mean its getting closer too Christmas... my favourite time of the year!

Christmas Hugs

Close up with flowers

Unfortunately I'm working next weekend as well so I do need to plan my time a bit better or it will be at least another two weeks before im back again ...that a lot of catching up to do!
I'm still in Christmas card making mode and have several to post, today I've chosen a cute Tilda. It was one of my favourite stamps from last christmas. I've used traditional colours and craft card;the papers are HOTP that came as part of a vintage christmas set last year. I've used a square craft card and its the smallest card I've made so far.Hopefully all going well I will post another by the end of the week.
and another close up
